Post #1 of datingcoachformen.com: This is a short post, but don’t underestimate the power it has to transform your love life!
If we’re looking to improve our love life without any kind of formal training – by just using “free dating advice” that we acquire from the Internet – it’s imperative that we put what we learn into practice.
More specifically, we want to maintain, at minimum, a 50/50 study-to-action ratio. That means for every hour that we spend reading books and blog posts, watching instructional videos, and analyzing various dimensions of the dating game, we want to spend at least an hour engaging women, swiping and messaging on our dating apps, and socializing. Ideally, we want to skew that ratio even more to the side of action-taking (10/90 or higher!).
To achieve tangible results, it’s not enough to understand the game, intellectually; it needs to be experienced.
There are very few instances where I recommend taking a break from the playing field, and spending some time reading up on various concepts, watching videos, studying the game, etc. A guy has to be really banging his head against the wall for me to recommend that he pull back from taking action, but it does occasionally happen.
Be honest with yourself, right now: Are you spending more time “studying” the game, or playing it?
